世界最大のデザイン・コンテストのひとつ「レッドドットデザイン賞」。レッドドットのマークは、卓越したデザインに対して品質保証をする印であり、このマークを認識票としてつけることが許された製品は、世界中で注目を浴びています。
2009年は、過去最高の49の国と地域から3,231点の応募があり、そのうち683点が受賞、49点が最高賞の「red dot: best of the best」を受賞しています。授賞式は、6月29日にドイツのエッセンにて開催されました。
