毎年ドイツで開催される「iF communication design award」は、2003年より「iF design award」のカテゴリーから独立しました。
カテゴリーは、“digital media”、“print media”、“architecture & public spaces”、“cross-media”の4つで、未発表作品を対象とした“too good to be true”での募集は、今年はなし。また、iF design award 同様に、コンセプトを競う学生限定の‘concepts’が設けられています。
2005年度は31カ国から1,211点のエントリーがあり、326点が受賞しました。その中からさらに『iF gold selection 2005』として30点が選出。金色に輝くiFトロフィーが贈られました。
学生対象の‘concepts’には、計210プロジェクトの応募参加がありました。結果、22点が受賞。そのうち8点には、スポンサーである韓国のLG Electronicsから、賞金総額EUR 10,000が贈られました。
ここでは『iF gold selection 2005』に選ばれた30点をご紹介します。
