北米コンテンポラリーデザインの分野では草分け的存在であるInternational Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF／国際コンテエンポラリー・ファニチャー・フェア)は、業界の最新動向を伝えるエキシビションとして毎年開催されています。
ICFFの中でも、巷間の注目を大いに集めた2006 ICFFエディターズ・アウォード。計16のカテゴリーへ数多くの応募があり、優秀な作品が揃いました。
授賞セレモニーは、第18回ICFFの最終夜に、当エキシビションの会場となっていたニューヨークシティーのJacob K. Javitsコンベンションセンターで開催されました。
