The Competition will run from November 1, 2022, 10:00 AM Japan Standard Time ("JST") until January 16, 2023, 12:00 PM JST.
※ UTC:The Competition will run from November 1, 2022, 1:00 until January 16, 2023, 3:00.
※ PST:The Competition will run from Octobar 31, 2022, 17:00 until January 15, 2023, 19:00.
※ EST:The Competition will run from Octobar 31, 2022, 20:00 until January 15, 2023, 22:00.


1st screening results:

Around mid-February 2023
The works that pass the 1st screening (about 30-50 works) will be announced on the official website and others.

Final judging results:

March 31, 2023 (Friday)
The grand prize winner will be announced on the official website.

Application Requirements

The Competition is open only to individuals who, at the time of entry and at all times during the Competition (individually, an “Entrant,” and collectively, “Entrants”) are:


Those who are recognized as adults in the following countries and regions

・Japan, US, Canada, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, Spain (including states)

・Must be eligible to work in the jurisdiction of lawful residence

・Must be able to communicate in Japanese or English and Chinese

Grand Prize

  • One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive a cash value of 300,000 yen. and the winners’ illustrations will be made into a Digimon card.
優秀賞のアイコン画像

Second Prize

  • Seven (7) Second Prize winners will receive a cash value of 100,000 yen each and the winners’ illustrations will be made into a Digimon card.
審査員特別賞のアイコン画像

Judges’ Special Prize

  • Judges’ Special Prize winners (a few people) will receive a cash value of 50,000 yen.

※Winners of the Grand Prize, Second Prize, and Judges’ Special Prize (hereafter referred to as "winners") may be asked to order illustrations separately.
※All winning entries may be displayed at future events.

Theme

Scene of Digimon’s Unique Personality or Characteristics

Illustrations that express the " Scene of Digimon’s Unique Personality or Characteristics " that conveys the appeal of the Digimon to be entered and the appeal of the Digimon worldview.

※A maximum of 3 entries per person will be accepted.
※If your work is hand-drawn, please take a picture of it with a digital camera or scan it into data for submission.
※Winners will be asked to resubmit their data in illustrator.

Notes on production

・When drawing digitally, please separate the layers for effects, characters, and background.

・It is okay to draw Digimon that are not eligible for entry in the work, but please make sure that the Digimon that are eligible for entry are the main subject of the illustration.

・Please note that the Digimon that will be reflected in the background must be the Digimon that are listed in the Digimon Encyclopedia on DIGIMONWEB as of 23:59 on , Octobar,2022(JST) 6:59.

※It is prohibited to draw people in the illustration.

・Must not include material which is or promote activities which are determined by Sponsor sole discretion, hateful, slanderous, libelous, tortious, sexually explicit, obscene, pornographic, inappropriate, violent, self-mutilating (e.g., relating to murder, the sales of weapons, cruelty, abuse, etc.), discriminatory (based on race, sex, religion, natural origin, physical disability, sexual orientation or age), illegal (e.g., underage drinking, substance abuse, computer hacking, etc.), offensive, threatening, profane, or harassing; or contain material that is threatening to any person, place, business, group or world peace; or contain words or symbols that are widely considered offensive to individuals of a certain race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation or socioeconomic group; or contain images, words or text portraying nudity, acts of violence, or acts that are or appear to be unlawful or dangerous or in violation of, or contrary to the laws or regulations in any state where the Submission is created in their application.

・Must not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to material that violates privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights, or that constitutes copyright infringement.

・Without limiting the foregoing, entry submissions must not include third-party trademarks, logos, insignia, location signage, photographs, artwork, or sculptures, except those of Sponsor.

・Must not include mention or performance of any copyrighted media production (including but not limited to books, articles, photographs, artwork, music, etc.) or identifying descriptions of any media property.

・Must not include third parties, including but not limited to minors, celebrities and friends, who have not expressly authorized Entrant to display their image or likeness in any submitted application or otherwise use such images or likenesses in accordance with these Rules. Entrant must be prepared to provide signed third-party authorizations upon request.

・It must not include depictions that appear to already exist in content such as animation or games, or depictions that appear to be clipped scenes from a single scene.

・Entries created using AI (Artificial Intelligence) will not be accepted.
