The Industrial Design Excellence Awards (IDEA)は、アメリカ・インダストリアル・デザイナー協会（IDSA）とビジネスウィーク誌が共催する、デザイン賞です。経済と生活の質に深く関わるインダストリアルデザインの価値を一般やビジネス界に伝えることを目的に設立されました。対象は、工業製品だけでなく、パッケージ、ソフトウエアなど多岐にわたります。受賞製品は、ビジネスウィークマガジンとビジネスウィークのWEBマガジンのトップページや、多くの媒体に掲載されることとなります。今回は受賞された205点から、金賞を受賞した計35点をご紹介します。
