デザイナーとクリエイターの団体D&ADが主催するD&AD Awardsは、デザイン全般および広告産業を対象とした国際的なデザイン賞です。1962年にイギリスで設立され、以来毎年開催されています。募集カテゴリは映像・グラフィック・ウェブサイト・写真・パッケージなど25も存在し、商業広告の分野を幅広く網羅しています。仕事に対する情熱を持ち、自分の才能を国際舞台で紹介したいと希望するデザイナーなら、誰でも応募することができます。世界の一流クリエイターが審査員を務め、D&ADの判断基準に従って審査を行います。
受賞者はクリエイティビティを称えるために毎年行われるD&AD Awards Ceremony and Dinnerで発表され、最高賞と入賞の受賞者にそれぞれ鉛筆型のトロフィーが贈られました。
