American Web Design Awardは、アイデアや情報を発信し、ユーザーを魅了し、行動や反応を生みだし、商品やサービスの促進を図る優れたデザインのウェブサイトやオンライン通信の能力を評価し、表彰するオンラインコンペです。
主催者のGDUSAは、急成長している事業・社会分野に関連した有益なデザインに焦点を当てたコンペを約50年間にわたって開催してきました。スポンサーであるThe Creativeの定評あるプログラムやグラフィックデザイン、インハウスデザイン、パッケージデザインを中心とする年次コンペでは受賞者の創造力を高く評価してきました。American Web Design Awardはここ数年に誕生したばかりの新しいコンペで毎年開催されています。
