Interior
The Japanese Society of Commercial Designers (JCD) has so far granted the JCD Design Award to the works that were excellent in commercial spaces, cultural facilities, Hotels, leisure facilities and so on. We have contributed to the qualitative improvement in the industry through the Award as a gateway to interior designers/architects in and outside the country.
We founded the new award "JCD International Design Competition for Youth 18-35 2005" as part of a social activity of the JCD this time. The aim of the Competition is to raise the designers of the next generation. That is, we grant the awards, in order to promote international talented people with creativity and a free interdisciplinary view for the students who study interior design, construction, product design, graphics, social science, and young designers.
The JCD widely opens the door to prospective designers and architects in Japan and the world for this design competition. Submission Materials Theme
Mobile Store: A store moved freely!
-Movable, Transportable, Floating, Freestanding stores

It is said that the person is a living thing that moves. In a word, the person is called "Homo Mubens." The first human beings were born 600,000 years ago in Africa. We live in almost all the continents except the South Pole and the North Pole now through several times of ice ages. And we continued movement further and, nowadays, human beings' destination is already turned to outside the earth.
We have invented on foot, horse riding, the ship, the railroad, the car, the airplane, etc. one after another as a means of movement. How about the building and the house? We think that most buildings do not urge people's movements but they control the move. To move must be a fundamental activity of human being. Therefore, we hope that young, promising designers invent "Move" shops.
